I got hit with a lot of Big Stuff last week that I can’t do anything about, but the thing that’s dragging me under is a tooth. Yes, I went to the dentist. Twice. I can explain in detail but that’s boring, so here’s my problem: I probably can’t get back to the dentist until Tuesday, but that’s okay as long as I don’t eat. Not eating, however, is not a solution, so I need a form of fast nutrition before I pass out here. (Yesterday, I had an apple and a hardboiled egg, both sliced and diced into pre-chewed form, so I’m not completely without nutrition, but close.) What do you suggest?
Nothing hot or cold. I think I can manage sucking on a straw without setting off the Beast Within, but not if what I’m slurping is cold. And it has to be something I can eat without gagging because throwing up would kill me. (Thus, no lukewarm soup; yes I tried that.) Anybody have any experience with protein drinks? I tried making a smoothie and that was a disaster, but I haven’t completely given up yet. I just need guidance because I’m a little woozy already, by tomorrow I’m going to be incapable of thinking clearly.
OTOH, I’ve lost four pounds. Yes, it’s all water weight, but it’s still four pounds.
